Car Hire
We act as agents for one of the major Car
Hire Companies on the Algarve - AUTO JARDIM - who offer
a good selection of excellent cars at very competitive rates.
It is advisable to arrange your car hire before you travel,
as car hire arranged in Portugal can be more expensive.
We can arrange most makes of car to suit your needs from
a Group A Corsa (2 doors/5 seater) up to a Group V Mercedes
Vito de Luxe (3 door/9 seater).
Middle range cars such as the Ford Fiesta, Renault Clio
or the Astra l.4 manual or automatic are all available and
collection is from the Airport compound so there will be
no "getting on the bus" if you book with us!
The minimum age for car hire is 21 years and you must have
a full British licence - held for at least 12 months which
you will be asked to produce when collecting your car. Additional
drivers, roof racks and child seats are all available -
a small extra charge is payable.
Please check our prices before booking car hire through your
chosen airline. The prices may appear to be excellent but
there are several hidden charges with many of the airlines
which are not notified until your arrival at the airport, by
which time it is to late.
Our car hire is fully inclusive and no further
charges will be added ( except for baby seats, roof
racks and extra drivers). Please ensure you have fully
comprehensive holiday insurance.

2008
Transfers
If you do not want to hire a car or you just
want to get to the villa and have the car delivered to your
door shortly after your arrival, we can make arrangements
for a private transfer from the Airport to your villa.
When you have an early arrival into Faro
Airport (before 10.00am) you will be asked to wait at the
airport until 10.00am before being taken to the villa
because ACCESS to the villa is not until 11.00am. An
'EARLY ACCESS' charge of £25.00 (up to 6 people) and
£35.00 (7 - 10 people) will automatically be added to your
invoice for ALL TRANSFER BOOKINGS with flights
arriving at Faro before 11.30am. This will enable you to
leave your luggage in the villa and sit by the pool until
the maid has completed her cleaning.
Prices are per journey 2007/8.
- 1-4 Passengers £40.00 per journey
- 5-6 Passengers £55.00 per journey
- 7-8 Passengers £65.00 per journey
Any abnormal luggage e.g., buggies, cold
boxes, golf clubs etc., MUST be notified at the time of
booking, so that the correct size vehicle can be reserved.
